台下很安静，所有人都在认真听。

她展示了一段中文分词算法的代码。
台下有技术背景的人频频点头。
讲完技术，她开始讲用户。
“Searchisnotjustabouttechnology.It'saboutunderstandingpeople.”她放出一张照片，“ThisisastudentinaruralareaofChina.HeusesBaidutofindlearningmaterials.ThisisasmallbusinessownerinTokyo.SheusesBaiduJapantopromoteherlocalshop.”
照片一张张切换。
有中国农村的孩子，有日本街头的店主，有城市里的白领，有退休在家的老人。
“Searchconnectspeoplewithinformation.Itdoesn'tmatterwhoyouare,whereyouare,whatlanguageyouspeak.Ifyouhaveaquestion,searchcanhelpyoufindtheanswer.”
演讲进行到第二十分钟，她讲到最后一部分。
“Baidu'smissionistomakeinformationaccessibletoeveryone.”她看着台下，“WestartedwithChinese,nowwe'reexpandingtoJapanese,andmorelanguagestocome.Westartedondesktop,nowwe'regrowingfastonmobile.WestartedwithasmallteaminBeijing,nowwehavehundredsofemployeesandmillionsofusers.”
她停顿了一下。
“Buttheoriginalvision,neverchanged.Webelievetechnologyshouldmakeinformationmoreequal,notless.Webelievesearchshouldbeneutral,fast,andreliable.Andwebelievethebestwaytopredictthefutureistocreateit.”
掌声响起。
